Directions: Take Muni street Cars J,K.L,M,N or Bart
and get off at Embarcadero
Walk East towards the Embarcadero/Bay Bridge. At
Spear street (one street before the
end of Market turn right.
Walk down a
block to Mission street. Make a slight left and enter the Rincon
Annex
building and walk all the way through the building and past the fountain.
Look for us up on the platforms or just in back of the platforms across from
Yank Sing

Program: The Speedy Magic Potholder.
Crochet a potholder out of leftover cotton
scraps
Create decorative Stripes and decorate with appliques and flowers
Materials: If participating
in the program, bring two or three half skeins of Cotton Worsted and
an
H hook. For the Flower, bring a few yards cotton
in
three colors (one for Center,One for petals,one for Leaves). You can use
the
same
colors as you used in the potholder and just bring a separate one for the
leaves.
Bringing
a sports weight for the petals makes a smaller flower. For Flower, bring a range
of
appropriate hooks (E through
G).
Bring your crochet and projects for "show and
tell".
