8-- CROCHET BY THE BAY (San Francisco Crochet Meeting)  
                                                

Time: Noon to 3pm - NORMALLY SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH Except on Holidays
Information: Bring your crochet hooks and your current projects. Bring any finished or semi
                   finished project for our "show and tell".
Location: YMCA at 169 Steuart Street at end of Market Street
Directions: Take Muni street Cars J,K.L,M,N or Bart and get off at Embarcadero
                 Walk East towards the Embarcadero/Bay Bridge. At end of Market turn right on Steuart St.
                  and walk down a block and 1/2 (between Howard and Mission. )

Program:  Matthew , our resident knitting expert will teach  (Continental) Knitting classes for Crocheters
Materials:  
Worsted Weight yarn  (about 2 oz) and a size 7 or 8 us needle

21- Amazing Crocheters, CGOA Chapter Meeting -

Location: Amazing Yarns, 2559 Woodland Place,Emerald Hills, ( Redwood City) CA
Program:  "Mother Bear" - Crochet or Knit Bears for Charity
Materials: Bring your wips and items for Show and Tell.  If you wish to participate in
                  making a bear for charity, you may either crochet or knit the bear. Bring 3
                  colors of "fist size" worsted weight yarn,  a G hook (or if knitting , size 7 Needles)

21-- MEN WHO CROCHET (Oakland CGOA Chapter Meeting)

Noon - NORMALLY THIRD SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH
Location: Telegraph Community Center, 5316 , Telegraph Avenue, Oakland  
Information:  Although the name is "Men who Crochet" , both Men and Women are welcome.
                        We potluck and exchange gifts every 3rd month..March, June, September, December
                         It would be helpful if  you email  Peter before the meeting to find out if anything

TATTING Program Postponed Until a later time: Nancy will teach us how crochet can be made to look like tatting. (THIS IS
                  NOT Cro-tatting but Nancy's own invention).
Materials:  Bring smooth thread/yarn and appropriate sized hook. It's traditionally done in Thread but Yarn will work.
